If there is anything we learned from Donald Trump’s first term, it is that the GOP needs a transformation. Today, Republicans are hesitant to comment on the irregularities of the 2020 election. Yes, a few stuck their necks out but others have not. Some have gone as far as Rick Santorum or Mitt Romney and have slammed Trump for not conceding yet. Trump is a polarizing figure that has sent shockwaves through the political system. He is beginning to shed light on the branches of the Republican Party that need a little shaking.

As vulgar as Donald Trump is, he is an attractive candidate. His rallies this year were gigantic. Trump’s base poured into stadiums daily. These folks wanted to see the man, the myth, the legend. Trump did talk about God occasionally in his speeches, but he did not come off as religious. Before Trump’s presidency, conservatives would not shut up about the death of religious values. Donald Trump, a famous celebrity, played a key role in the cultural deterioration that religious conservatives feared. Yet so many of these people are now his biggest supporters. This is likely because of his imperfections.

The Republicans need to get on board with the rebrand. The GOP should no longer be the party that fosters events that feel like extensions of Bible groups. Conservatives want to celebrate, and they want to party, and Donald Trump is the life of the party. Today’s GOP virtue signals to their base, only to turn around and sell out their own constituency. You can also tell that they are losers by simply looking at them.

The typical conservative male politician looks and acts like a church dad. They wear a colored button-down shirt tucked into jeans. They show a little bit of pudge, and their hobbies include mowing lawns and spending time with their wives. They have a calm demeanor and while they may defend their values, they don’t do so aggressively. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has a spray tan, wears a baseball cap and his hobbies include cheating on his wife. He openly insults the liberal elite classes in his interviews and press conferences. You tell me who is more gravitating.

Yes, we hear you old-guard conservatives, politics isn’t about having fun. But if the Democrats are able to strip away our rights while dancing on Ellen, why can’t we defend our freedoms while doing the YMCA?

The conservative women, in the political space, seem to have more balls than the men. In fact, when you study the recent exit polls, it is the white males that turned on Trump in 2020. Whatever happened to the Washingtons, the Jeffersons, the Jacksons, the Teddy Roosevelts? What happened to the abrasive cowboys that valiantly fought for the west?

Trump is far from perfect. Many of his policies, specifically his economic spending policies, hurt America. But his ability to take a stand and take on cancel culture, the mainstream media and the deep state all at once is pretty freakin’ patriotic. The patriots of today are not the sweater vest politicians of the GOP. Today’s patriots are the hard-working politically incorrect men and women that take a stand to support Western values. They are not racists or sexists. They are grounded people that believe in something that is good and true. Donald Trump was a reaction to what the American people have experienced from both the left and the right. He served as a reflection of the angst and anger the American people direct towards coastal elites that constantly screw over the common man. It is up to these people to hold the GOP accountable and to ruthlessly cast out the treasonous political sellouts within the conservative party.
